During 2023, tensions between the Western world, Russia, North Korea, and China have escalated. The political relations with the Islamic world have not become better. This is causing increasing discrimination and persecution against Evangelicals in countries like Pakistan, Nigeria, Iran, China, and Russia, even though a clear majority of Christians desire to become bridge builders between different political and religious blocks and alliances.

Jack Hayford, whose faith and leadership impacted millions worldwide, transitioned from this life on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Known to most as simply “Pastor Jack,” Hayford sought a life of worship and intimacy with Christ, evidenced in his more than 50 books and some 500 hymns and choruses, including the internationally renowned and widely recorded, Majesty.

During an in-person meeting in conjunction with the Pentecostal World Conference (PWC), the Advisory Committee of the Pentecostal World Fellowship (PWF) once again elected Dr. William M. Wilson, President of Oral Roberts University, to serve as the organization’s chair. 

The 26th Pentecostal World Conference (PWC) convened today in Seoul, Korea, at Yoido Full Gospel Church, with over 10,000 worshippers representing nations across the globe.

The second day of the 26th Pentecostal World Conference (PWC) continued with two plenary sessions, eleven workshops, two discussion forums, and the installation ceremony of the Pentecostal World Fellowship’s (PWF) executive committee and advisory committees.

The third and final day of the 26th Pentecostal World Conference (PWC) began on the beautiful rolling hills and lush grounds of the Korean peninsula, known as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Over 25,000 worshippers came to Peace Park, which is located at the demarcation line between North Korea and South Korea.

The World Council of Churches (WCC) and Global Christian Forum, in a signing ceremony, affirmed their unique roles in their mutual quest for Christian unity. The agreement marks an historic milestone in the longtime collaboration between the two organizations.

Pentecostal movements around the world are uniting in prayer because of the war in Ukraine. The heart of God and our hearts are deeply grieved by the needless suffering of innocent people that is taking place due to this conflict. We pray and call for those who have initiated this violence to stand down and seek a peaceful resolution.

The Pentecostal World Fellowship announces that the 26th triennial Pentecostal World Conference (PWC) which was scheduled to be held in Seoul, Korea, June 8-10, 2022 on the campus of Yoido Full Gospel Church has been rescheduled for October 12-14, 2022 due to Covid19 travel restrictions in Korea.

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke passed away today, December 7, 2019 at the age of 79. Evg Bonnke founded Christ for All Nations in 1974 and was by many accounts the most effective and prolific evangelist in history, with over 79 million recorded salvations during his ministry.

The First Session of the Seventh Phase of the International Catholic - Pentecostal Dialogue took place in Springfield, MO, USA, from 12 to 18 July 2018 between the Catholic Church and some Classical Pentecostal churches and leaders.

Meeting at the Taize Community in France, the Global Christian Forum Committee chose Dr Casely Essamuah to serve in the central role of its Secretary. Dr Essamuah will take up the position on 1 July 2018, following the retirement of the Rev Dr Larry Miller who has led the GCF for the last six years.

The same week that President Donald Trump was meeting with Pope Francis in Rome, another historic event was taking place, as the Global Christian Forum facilitated a groundbreaking encounter with major global bodies representing most every part of world Christianity.

The Global Christian Forum (GCF) Committee comprising high-level leaders and representatives from all the major streams of world Christianity met together at Casa Sacerdotal, Havana, Cuba from 21-23 March 2017 for the annual committee meeting.

On 29 November 2016, Dr Guneratnam delivered the opening message at the AFPEM congress which sought to motivate and mobilize African churches to do missions. He also ministered to two churches in Nairobi.

Dr Prince Guneratnam ministered to hundreds of Indian pastors from 17-21 October 2016. He challenged them to believe God to do greater things in and through them. These pastors represented 1,600 congregations in 23 states in India.

Dr Prince Guneratnam presided over the 24thPentecostal World Conference, Sao Paulo Brazil from 7-10 September. The Pentecostal World Fellowship covers 600 million Pentecostals with the impetus of fulfilling the Great Commission.
