Walking together, serving justice and peace

The World Council of Churches (WCC) and the fellowship that is its heart and soul celebrated its 70th anniversary in June 2018.  It was an opportunity to mark the achievements of the past 70 years in working for Christian unity and action, and to look to the challenges ahead as a fellowship of churches responding to God’s call for unity, mission, justice and peace.

Dr Prince Guneratnam, Chairman of the Pentecostal World Fellowship (PWF) was invited to celebrate this momentous occasion.  He presented a congratulatory plaque to Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, General Secretary of the WCC on 19 June 2018 at a celebration dinner in Geneva.
